This June edition will bring us another familiar name in the TEL community - Dr Tünde Varga-Atkins, who will talk about her multimodal research practice. Anyone who is active in TEL research and/or the digital education network should be familiar with Dr Varga-Atkins.
Dr Varga-Atkins is also a famous graduate of the PhD in e-Research and TEL programme at Lancaster, she is without a doubt, our inspiration!

Tünde Varga-Atkins, PhD, is a Senior Educational Developer at the Centre for Innovation in Education, University of Liverpool and Principal Fellow (HEA). Her specific areas of research encompass areas in curriculum design and evaluation, assessment and feedback, digital capabilities, learner experience research and scholarship of learning and teaching. Tünde has employed multimodal and creative methods in her research, such as working with drawings and diagrams for data elicitation, poems for data analysis, and combining existing methods, such as the nominal focus group, to support curriculum evaluation. Tünde is editor of Research in Learning Technology and associate editor of the Developing Academic Practice journals.
